INVITATION TO THE 18th ANNUAL GOLF TOURNAMENT OF THE

MRC DES COLLINES-DE-L'OUTAOUAIS

The purpose of this letter is to invite you to participate in our 18th annual golf tournament to be held Friday, August 22, 2008, at the «Mont Cascades» Golf Club, in the municipality of Cantley.  This tournament is organised in collaboration with the CLD, MRC and Public Security Service of the MRC des Collines-de-l’Outaouais and the profits generated by the tournament will be donated to the «Fondation Jeunesse des Collines-de-l’Outaouais».  The primary function of the «Fondation Jeunesse des Collines-de-l’Outaouais» is to promote and support financially cultural, sporting and social activities aimed at the development and growth of our young population.  Last year, the «Fondation Jeunesse des Collines-de-l’Outaouais» received a $5,000.00 cheque as a donation, monies raised during the 2007 tournament.

We will start the day with a brunch served at the golf course from 10:00 hrs to 12:00 hrs, followed by a «shot gun» start, scheduled for 12:30 hrs.  Door prizes will be drawn during the brunch.  The pictures of the foursomes will also be taken during the brunch hours and will be distributed at the end of the day, at the same time as the announcement of the winning foursome and awarding of the trophy.

The objective of this event is to bring business people, professionals, citizens and elected members from our MRC, and from neighbouring municipalities, together in a relaxed atmosphere and in beautiful surroundings in order to share some leisure time together.  If you wish, you may also invite friends and make your own foursome.  You need not be an expert golfer in order to enjoy yourself.

We are calling upon your generosity in order to offer participation prizes to the golfers of this tournament.  We are looking for gifts of all kinds that could be expressed by the donation of products or services from your business.  If you wish to donate a prize, please contact the persons mentioned below in order to make the necessary arrangements to pick up the gifts as well as tow (2) business cards.

There is also the possibility of being a tournament sponsor.  In exchange for a $100.00 sponsorship, an advertising board, featuring your business, will be installed on the teeing ground of one of the golf course’s 18 holes.  If you wish to become a sponsor, please forward your cheque, as well as two (2) business cards, to:  7 Edelweiss Road, La Pêche, Quebec, J0X 3G0, by August 1, 2008.
